Line up

Aphex Twin (UK)

musicians of our time. Since the beginning of the 90s, he has led the development and influenced everything from electronic music to modern pop, hip-hop and jazz.

From the early Selected Ambient Works-records to later releases such as Syro and Druqs - by breaking every single rule and being constantly surrounded by heavy mystery, Aphex Twin has been the pioneer who has guided generation after generation of ground-breaking artists.

This summer, one of electronic music's greatest is doing his first Sweden gig since 1999!

Sara Parkman (SE)

With her unique voice, sharp lyrics, and musical boundary-crossing, Sara Parkman has captivated us completely. In her presence, it feels like we step into an alternative reality, where tranquility prevails, there is time for contemplation, and everything shimmers in a slightly different shade.

By blending traditional folk music instruments such as violin and nyckelharpa with modern beats and electronic sounds, Parkman has created an exciting and entirely unique sonic landscape. When this soundscape is topped with her poignant, personal lyrics, magic happens. In 2023, Sara Parkman was awarded three well-deserved prizes at the Manifest Gala.

Sherelle – DJ set (UK)

One of the most promising artists on the British club scene is undoubtedly SHERELLE. She is known for blending a variety of genres such as grime, jungle, footwork, and drum and bass to create a high-energy and danceable soundscape. SHERELLE has gained a lot of attention for her dynamic and technically dazzling DJ sets, and she also has her own radio program on BBC Radio 1.

At Rosendal Garden Party, SHERELLE will be tying together Saturday's program and serving as the accelerating bridge between the atmospheric afternoon and the evening's electronic outburst.

Fever Ray (SE)

Fever Ray. The Knife. Honey Is Cool. Since the mid-90s, Karin Dreijer has constantly challenged thyself and the contemporary.

If Fever Ray's debut album from 2009 was characterized by minimalistic arrangements, 2017's Plunge was rather maximalist. Now Fever Ray is finally up to date with the extremely long-awaited album Radical Romantics, which will be released on March 10. This time, Karin Dreijer has invented an unnamed character, from whose perspective we get to experience love from several different angles.

Rosendal Garden Party will be Fever Ray's first gig in Stockholm since the now legendary concerts at Nobelberget in 2018.

Bendik Giske (NO)

It is an intense and hypnotic experience when Norwegian saxophonist Bendik Giske takes the listener on a journey through a range of different soundscapes. By experimenting with various rhythmic patterns and sound textures, Giske creates a unique experience that is hard to categorize. His music is a fusion of jazz, electronic, and experimental music, constantly challenging the listener.

With his two solo albums Surrender and Cracks, as well as his collaboration with Pavel Milyakov, Bendik Giske has been internationally acclaimed by, among others, Pitchfork as one of the most exciting artists right now.

FAQ

After it last week became clear that neither Stormzy nor Tiana Major9 could attend this year’s Rosendal Garden Party, we have worked hard to find a good solution with a great club night at Banankompaniet instead.

Now, another unfortunate incident has occurred. Due to production-related reasons (beyond our control), Asake has had to make the difficult decision to cancel the concert in Sweden on June 8th. We assure you that this decision was not taken lightly, and he tried until the last moment.

"I am deeply sorry for any inconvenience caused. I sincerely hope to visit Sweden in the near future!" - Asake

Due to this, we are canceling the club night at Banankompaniet on June 8th. All tickets (both for the Rosendal Garden Party on June 8th and the club night at Banankompaniet) will be refunded. The refund will be handled by our ticket provider Eventim and will be automatically processed to the account used upon purchase.

All ticket buyers have received more information via email.
